Wishing all of you a great Fourth of July weekend! Have a safe and fun long holiday weekend with your family and friends
God Bless America!
Hi!
Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long. Things have been pretty hectic. Mindy and Izzy are doing great. They are learning new words everyday and are really developing into awesome little people. Not much is new with me. I had a laparoscopy a few weeks back to deal with some adhesions and the incision ended up getting infected so I was down and out for a little while. Everything is good now though. Ive been thinking of you all!

fun times!
So, first of all - glad to see some posts! Annette - your kids are gorgeous!
it’s been crazy - as it seems to be with everyone - madeline had hand/foot and mouth last week and sarah and samantha have it now - i should be in bed because i haven’t slept more than 4 hours in 2 nights combined - i feel like the days of when they were babies - they are just MISERABLE - blisters in the mouth - i know some of you have been where i am… it’s tough! :) On top of that - poor jordan had lice last week - the daycare finally was able to get rid of the culprits that continue to bring it in - oh, how i hope that those of you that haven’t dealt with that before never have to - what a nuisance!
On a good note - we are gearing up for a great july 4th weekend - we are having our annual pool party and bar b que - what is everyone else planning?
i hope you all are well!
Hey you guys!
Long time no talkie! We have moved and are finally back with dh. All of the kids are doing well. The transition has been easy, very nice. I don’t really have a lot of new news…..pretty normal day to day life. The girls have their 18mo check up on the 7th of July. We may be going in the direction of tubes for both of them:( they have had 9 and 10 different ear infections and way to many antibiotics. I know some of you have had tubes….has it helped?
I haven’t quite figured out how to use this page yet. Is the view supposed to be different when you first get on the site vs. when you log in? Also, I have a different email address. I changed it on my account but was unsure if there was anything else I needed to do.
Talk to you all later!

Birthday Fun
Yesteday we had a big get together at my parent’s house to celebrate hubby’s birthday and my sister’s birthday. It was a fabulous day with family. My sister has 8 kids and believe it or not………they all get along with my Jacob, Grace, Faith and Emma. My sis has a set of identical twins too. Her girls, Bridgett and Katherine are 5. I got a cute picture of them with Faith and Emma. The other little girl in the picture is Susan, my sister’s youngest, who will be 2 on Aug. 11. Faith and Emma will be 2 Sept. 28th. I am so glad they can grow up together!
I did something stupid
Saturday, Frankie was wide awake at naptime. He was looking out the window from his crib. So I figured, since he wasn’t sleepy I’d take him outside in the backyard. He was wearing a onesie (& a diaper) and that’s it. He wanted to get down from me holding him so I put him down barefooted & let him walk around. He was walking back & forth on the cement happy as can be. After about a half hour I picked him up to bring him back inside & noticed some blood on the front of his foot. Lou said ”that’s just from the dr visit when he got his shot & it was bleeding & dripped on his foot.” Then I looked at the bottom of his foot & his toes were all scraped up. His big toe is missing a layer or two of skin! I felt sooo bad! It’s scabbing now so he’s getting better. I have it bandaged & he’s walking on his heels keeping his toe up. Hopefully it’ll heal fast & soon!!! My poor baby!!!! ![]()
couple of questions
1) do your babies use pillows yet?
2) have they had peanut butter yet?
I currently use a receiving blanket folded up for a pillow for them - 9 times out of 10, it ends up across the other side of the crib, or they are using it like a blanket.
We haven’t given them peanut butter yet - there is no history of food allergies in our family, nor did jordan and madeline have any issues with peanut butter and quite frankly, i’m pretty certain that i was giving jordan and madeline peanut butter by 18months, so i’m not so sure why i’m so concerned?
18 Month Update
Hi everyone. We had our 18 month check-up today. The babies are fine. Except Angelina had a big drop in her weight percentile. She was at 40% & dropped to 2%. Frankie’s been at the low percentile, but has been following the curve. Angelina was accepting ”real” food but I’m still feeding them jars of baby food & baby cereal. We are being referred to a nutritionist. I will be callling her on Monday. Hopefully she can help by telling me what to feed them & hopefully they will accept the food. They had the HepA shot & cried. They were supposed to get the chicken pox vax, but the dr didn’t have any left. We will be going back in a month for a weight check & they get the shot then. Also they should be saying six words & pointing to things that they want & they are not doing that either. (just babbling & screaming). I never knew motherhood would be this difficult & feel like I’m failing them. Angelina loves books so I’m going to try to read to them more & I’m thinking maybe they have had too much tv time so I’m going to cut that back. I don’t know what else I can do.
