Video of Emma Walking
Here’s Emma walking with her pushtoy. She just now started doing this, and has taken a few steps on her own as well.
Emma Took Her First Steps!!
Yes! She is finally starting to walk some. She is still a little apprehensive, and just needs to get her self confidence up, but she can do it. I think she may have some sensory issues, and that’s what may be holding her back. I’m going to be getting her a referral from her ped to start occupational therapy. I really think she could benefit from it and so does her physical therapist.
Just a heads up. I put a link to login at the top of the blog. Thought that would be easier, and so we wouldn’t have to scroll down. The blog is going great though, I’m really proud of it and so glad you guys are enjoying using it. ![]()

Got New Carseats Today - The Cosco Scenera
Okay…I know most of you have the really nice Britax carseats, and I would really love for the twins to have them. It’s just we really don’t have the money to buy them. Now…today I bought these Cosco Scenera carseats for the twins. I’ve read some really good reviews, and you just can’t beat the price. They were only $43 at Walmart. And not to mention the really cute design.
They fit a infant from 5 to 35 lbs rear-facing (which I thought was pretty darn good) and 22 to 40 lbs forward-facing. They are very similar to the one that Faith is riding in now, and she loves it. Emma’s carseat was an older version, and didn’t have the Latch, so I was mainly looking for her, but how could I not buy two matching ones…you know? They are just too cute! LOL
Just like big brother
It’s amazing how much Jacob & Cole look up to Owen & try to be like him. I knew it would happen at some point but I didn’t expect it so soon.
Last night Jacob found a pair of Owen’s Thomas underwear & demanded to wear them over his pj’s. I tried to take them off before he went to bed but he threw the biggest fit ever. Here are a couple of pictures from this morning.

Does anyone use nightlights?
Hey - does anyone have nightlights in their babies room? just curious - we did, until Sarah and Samantha decided to yank it out of the wall today and basically break the thing. It was PITCH black in their room when i put them down and didn’t want to take the chance that them not having a nightlight would affect their sleep, so i ran to the store and bought a new one. The one that i bought is a lime light… barely bright at all. we’ll see what happens.
Emma Is On the Move!
Just wanted to share Emma’s latest progress and milestones she’s met. A few weeks ago, Emma had discovered that she could kind of scoot on her bottom to get to where she was going. Of course, we were so happy about that, but her physical therapist wasn’t. She still trying to encourage her to crawl the “normal” way, and every now and then she will, but most of the time, it’s the ole “booty scoot” and she has perfected it.
She also has finally started rolling over from back to stomach and sitting up in her crib, and she even pulled up to the rails the other day. So that’s a major milestone for her! But…this has caused some issues with sleeping, because I used to be able to lay her down at night and she would go right to sleep…well, not anymore!! So that has kind of been an issue. Also, when we stand her up to the couch or something, she will now take small, slow steps and cruise a little bit. So she’s getting there. She’s just very careful, and she seems to be a little weak in her arms and shoulders, but the therapist says that is normal with preemie babies. Who knows why Faith has escaped all of this.
Now Faith on the other hand, is everywhere!!! She has almost started running. Are any of yours talking? Mine really aren’t saying much. I would love some feed back on that.
Testing from Europe
Time to put #3 (or technically #1) to bed here in Europe … what a day … too much crying and whining, opening every freakin cupboard in the house … I don’t mind child proofing, but I don’t want my house to be like Fort Knox … it’s a house, for sake! They need to learn they can’t touch everything … but, boy, when?! That’s the question. Sofie was never into all this stuff, but they all see eachother do things … it makes it way worse!
